Batman vs Superman: The Dark Knight is back

So it seems that our favourite hero in Black is not content with just fighting men anymore, he has now turned his attention to a superhero with superhuman powers. Ben Affleck reprises his role as the Dark Knight himself to hold Superman, played by Henry Cavill, accountable for the destruction caused to Metropolis in the wake of the 2013 Man of Steel film.

While most will see this as a step too far for the caped crusader, it sets in motion a much longer storyline that oversees the formation of the Justice League, and more importantly, a lot more Batman films for us to watch! (Considering we’ve had to twiddle our thumbs since the most recent trilogy came to an end over 3 years ago.) It also spells the return of our favourite bad guy, Lex Luthor, who is set to be played by ‘Mr Facebook’ himself, Jesse Eisenberg, and of course Aquaman and Wonder Woman are already scripted in the castlist.

So does this latest film mean we should be on the lookout for any new slot machines coming our way? Well it’s probably too early to get our hopes up for now and with the Dark Knight Slots and Dark Knight Rises Slots still proving hugely popular, it’s probably a bit too soon for us to start looking for a replacement just yet… but who knows what the future will hold.
